My thoughts?

Personally, I think that we’re designed by God, and I’m not here by chance. However, growing up in a Christian home and attending a school where the teachers a Christian, I may be slightly bias.

I believe that I’m here for a reason, but I’m still trying to find that out and learn more about myself. Life is a journey, and there’s a lot of things that are unknown and may stay that way for a while. Maybe one day I’ll get an epiphany and just realize my purpose, but I think that’s an eventual process. Because of this, I tend to try a lot of different things, to discover more about my likes and dislikes and what fits me.

During this research, I’ve noticed that there are people who believe something just because that’s what others do, or because they are against one part of something and therefore against all of it. I think that before you choose to believe in anything, you should look into it for yourself. Don’t let other people or things stop you from learning, and have a growth mindset.

The whole creationism vs evolution thing is something I don’t think will ever be resolved. We can do a lot of research, find lots of evidence, and discover new information, but it will never be enough. Although personally I’m satisfied with what I know, because I don’t really care that much about this, for those that do care, I think they can always go farther and dive deeper. Maybe you’ll end up getting more questions than answers, but that’s part of the learning process. It never ends, and there’s always more.

After doing all this research, and hearing other’s opinions, I’m not entirely sure where I am. I believe there is a God, who designed everything, but beyond that things are more fuzzy than before, when the choices were a lot less. My perspective is different, knowing more than before, but my thinking has mostly stayed the same.
