Creation Evidence: DNA

DNA is often used as a basis for evidence of evolution, but can DNA also point to the existence of an intelligent creator or a god? After all, if DNA forms the basis of life, where did it come from in the first place?

The probability that DNA was created by chance is very slim. Also, how does it work anyways? It’s an instruction manual of sorts, carrying coding and information that allows a living thing to work. But at the same time, it’s just made of regular chemicals. How does sugar and phosphate somehow go beyond and create something so complicated? Not only is what it creates complicated, but it’s also very specific. DNA contains info that allows proteins to form using amino acids put together in the right order. There’s so many different possibilities when it comes to them; the chances that they could just come together perfectly by random happenings is miniscule.

DNA itself is basically evidence of an intelligent creator or designer. Luck can sometimes get someone decently far, but without skill to back it up, it will eventually fizzle away and end. This may not seem like applicable here, but I think that it’s what this whole argument boils down to.
